We had a renovation done in Neutral Bay (Kurraba Point). Jarn and his team came through and completely revamped the place. Can’t say enough good things about him and his team. Fast, professional, courteous to other tenants in the building, and the results are fantastic! Couldn’t be happier. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do a full renovation.

We are VERY happy with our experiencing working with Sydney Renovations Hire. Jarn and his Team did an AMAZING job with our apartment. The whole apartment was gutted and re-done top-to-bottom, including: removal of a bearing wall, two full bathrooms, kitchen, master bedroom with a walk in wardrobe, media room/second bedroom, laundry, and creating a new study/storage area that was not in the original apartment. It’s a beautiful totally new apartment now. Jarn and his team were fantastic; the entire process was a pleasure, Jarn worked closely with us at each step of the process. We had weekly site meetings to discuss the goals for the week and to resolve any issue as they would come up. This helped to keep the project moving along so that they could finish on-time – which they did. 10 weeks, the whole apartment, done! Happy :-) This was our first time renovating an apartment and we were a little bit concerned because of all the horror stories you hear about. We approached three different companies (one which was recommended to us). One company said, “Too hard”, the other didn’t include painting and some other things, but Sydney Renovations’ quote included the total cost of the renovation up front. All our friends just love the new apartment; the whole experience was such a delight. I would highly recommend Sydney Renovations Hire and Jarn and his Team to anyone. We engaged Jarn and the team to complete a full terrace renovation for us. Jarn was very professional and fantastic with communication. The house was completed in the timeframe that was promised which I’ve heard is very rare in this space. All the finishings on the cabinetry aligned beautifully and Jarn had some fantastic creative solutions to help maximise the limited space in the terrace to get the most out of it.

Jarn, Georgina, and the team worked tirelessly to make sure my apartment renovation was finished in time before the new year - even after I had requested multiple changes to the initial scope we had planned. I would like to recommend this company with much confidence. Being my second time renovating, I was able to see the difference between a large company renovation and a small family run business - it has been such a pleasure having these guys renovate my apartment. I have been heard, and all of my requests have been executed in impeccable timing and with great workmanship and care - the process has been extremely easy and i have felt trust and assurance every step of the way. I am also pleased for the added recommendations which I would have not otherwise known were options! The finished product speaks to the high quality of their work from start to finish. I am writing this review because I also needed assurance before making a decision to go ahead with the renovation because of the hardships I had the first time renovating. Jarn and Georgina have worked so hard to deliver my dream home exactly as I imagined. I would like to thank the entire team too. What started as me describing verbally what I wanted my home to look like, ended in my now perfectly renovated apartment. I'm so excited to start cooking and entertaining in my new kitchen! I'll preface to say, this might be the hardest review I've ever had to write! I wanted to write a review that offers an accurate reflection of the incredible attention to detail, and impeccable quality that Jarn expressed throughout his time managing our renovation. It turns out, it's really f*cking hard just to write a review that I feel matches the quality of his work, I have no idea how Jarn managed to do the same thing, at a consistently high level on our pride and joy for weeks on end! So, what made us feel this way and be so incredibly satisfied with the work Jarn delivered? First, some background: We started out just planning a kitchen and bathroom reno, and although we wanted more, had the time pressure of a baby on the way and didn't want to have a blown out timeline wind up with us moving back home after the birth. Great builders combine 3 traits - A teacher - Patience - Unrelenting drive to get the job done. Jarn has all three in spades! He always made himself available to discuss ideas with us, and share his insight about how things would fit together, and his experience from previous projects. Even with deadlines looming and him really needing an answer, Jarn made sure we had all the facts to make a balanced decision that we'd be happy with. I found this trait of Jarn's, bringing us deeply into the discussion and informing our decisions, to be really valuable. Combine these traits with an incredible team, and you are set for success! Another thing I have to comment on is how tidy the workspace was, throughout the project. We often came back to the apartment to check on progress, and everything was packed away and organised, ready for the next day. All around the job site, Jarn had pasted pictures of the design drawings so the team knew exactly what the end goal would look like, and made us excited looking at the progress of the work! During the course of the project we added significant scope, without flexibility in our move-in date. Even under incredible pressure Jarn maintained his positive outlook, and didn't compromise quality to get things done in time. And, we made our target date! I thoroughly recommend Jarn for any renovation or building work. From planning to maintenance, we were extremely impressed in the impeccable quality and professionalism of Jarn and his team, and even months later still light up with smiles when we look at our awesome new kitchen!

Where to begin? We could not be happier with our decision to go ahead and approve the quote Jarn had prepared for us. We were quite unsure what to expect and so we went ahead and had 4 different companies quote our apartment renovation. Jarn's quote came in a little higher than the rest and we were quite tempted to go for the cheaper option but luckily we followed our gut instinct based on Jarn's energy and care factor. From the get go, the entire process was explained clearly and we were always updated on every single step of the renovation. If we ever needed to chat after hours, Jarn was available for this and if not, we had Georgina who would cover. We were never left in the dark and this was one of our fears starting the renovation as we had heard many horror stories from friends. Having 2 people available to communicate with regarding the progress of our apartment renovation made our days much easier so thanks again! Other than the great people behind the work, the actual results of our now amazingly perfect apartment is why we are here. Everything was completed to the highest standard and whenever we had an unexpected issue...and we did have a few of them; the team were quick to firstly, help destress my partner who is a major stress head ;P then move on to quickly resolve the issue - again we are grateful for these efforts and the care that we experienced. We definitely reccomend these legends for a renovation. All of our friends and family have had the pleasure of enjoying our new beautiful home with us and we are so proud of the results. The time had arrived where my husband and I decided it was time to renovate our family home. Due to the lack of building knowledge we had no idea where to start! So we started with a simple google search, and sent an enquiry to a few companies on the first page. Within a few hours we received a call from a man named Jarn from Sydney Renovations Hire, he introduced himself and began to ask us a few questions regarding our vision for our dream home. Within 5 minutes he understood our vision and met us for coffee the following day to introduce himself face to face and have a look at our home. Jarn was honest, clear, and a great communicator. He provided us with his professional builder opinion regarding design and even provided alternative solutions which we could never have thought of. Jarn sent us a quote that aligned perfectly with our budget, as promised, he even added in a few extra features and items that weren’t initially allowed for. Our experience with Jarn from the start had been a pleasant one so we decided to engage him as the builder for our dream home renovation. Within a few days Jarns’ team arrived to site, they were professional and well presented. We were introduced to Georgina who was Jarns’ business partner and wife, she provided us with her contact details and advised us that she would be overseeing the project alongside Jarn and if we had any queries, to call her at anytime. The team had put up the correct safety measures to ensure there were no issues during works, they also had the site plans printed out and placed all over site to ensure no mistakes with the proposed design. These initial first few encounters from Jarn, Georgina and the team allowed us to see their professionalism, and experience as a team. Whenever my husband and I had a question, or thought there was an issue, either Jarn or Georgina would be on site instantly with a solution, or on call to ensure we understood what was going on during the entire construction process. The quality of workmanship provided was beyond what was expected, the above and beyond commitment this team provided, constantly amazed us. We cannot recommend a better team, and we are glad that for our first renovation experience we chose Sydney Renovations Hire. We now have our dream home, and we’d like to thank Jarn, Georgina and their amazing team for making it happen!
