Origins

A Premium Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil from the olive groves of the Qadisha Valley (meaning Holy Valley in Aramaic) in Northern Lebanon. The Qadisha Valley is a UNESCO world heritage site, having sheltered Christian monastic communities since the earliest years of Christianity. The olive trees grow at an altitude of 1000m above sea level, in an area of unspoilt natural beauty, and well away from major towns and pollution. The groves are classified and monitored as organic to strict EU / international standards.

The olives, once harvested, are taken directly to the mill within a few hours for grading, selection and pressing. The oil is stored in modern temperature-controlled tanks, before being bottled and labelled by hand into dark glass bottles, which reduce the effect of light on the ageing process. This early harvest olive oil is herbal and peppery, with a hint of bitterness, and complements salads, cheese, meat, fish, vanilla ice cream. Qadisha Valley is one of the top olive oil brands in Lebanon, winning a Gold award at the national olive oil contest in 2018 and a Great Taste award in 2017. Qadisha Valley features in many of the top restaurants in Lebanon
