    In a hurry? Come to Oscar’s, our new takeaway – it’s the perfect place to pick up a drink, snack or ice-cream on the go. Named after Oscar the Ostrich (one of our Farm Trail’s most popular residents), it’s handily situated close to Greendale Farm Shop, and makes an ideal pit-stop after a walk along our Farm Trail or a quick visit to the shop. Open Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday – Sunday 9am-5pm. NB times may vary from advertised.

Greendale Ice Cream

 We’ve kept the menu simple, offering customer favourites from pasties, sausage rolls and pastries to traybakes and ice creams! 

We have two ice cream styles available - delicious scoop flavours from Marshfield Ice Cream and our brand new Greendale Ice Cream soft serve!

Cotswold-based Marshfield Farm is a multi award-winning ice-cream maker, which uses milk exclusively from its own herd of Friesian cows to produce more than thirty varieties of delicious ice cream, all of them made on-site in specially converted barns. Choose from vanilla, strawberry, chocoholic heaven, honeycomb, salted caramel or ask for our specials.

Our Greendale Ice Cream is available on a cone or in tub, or why not treat yourself to a Greendale Sundae - choose from Biscoff, Crunchie, Oreo or Flake toppings.

The Greendale Grounds

'The Greendale Grounds' is our exclusive blend of coffee, only available at Oscar's takeaway. It's a sweet, mild, single origin coffee from El Salvador, with delicious flavours of plums and chocolate. Made in collaboration with Rugga Coffee, you are helping to support mental health charities in the UK with every purchase.

Our farm trail

If you’re planning to visit the farm shop, why not bring the children and make a day of it? When you’ve finished shopping, recharge your batteries in our café then head out on our family farm trail. Set in 15 acres of farmland, the trail follows a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs; you can potter over to see the friendly chickens and ducks, visit Oscar the curious Ostrich and maybe take our vintage tractors for an imaginary ‘test drive’.
